A note for non-Brazillians: the Physics Institute (IFUSP) is a very large unit of the University of São Paulo, with more than 110 professors.  IFUSP is divided into 6 "departments" that are autonomous from each other and do not have much thematic affinity: you can find researchers in pretty much all fields in the 6 departments. In particular, I am in the Mathematical Physics department, but there are others working independently on Cosmology in at least two other departments. The Cosmology and Astrophysics group of our department is briefly described here.
